Post bracket
The Dimension S on the diagram can be constructed
by assembling the post bracket using either two or
three pieces. Up to 165 mm is possible.
If three pieces are used, after bolting the bracket
assembly together, drill a 4-mm clearance hole into
the post bracket. Use the pilot hole in the extension
bracket as a guide. Insert a 4-mm roll pin to lock
the two segments securely.
Mounting the actuator to the brackets
Use the spacer washers, 10-mm bolt, and pin provided.
Setting the limit stops
Unlock the manual release and move the gate through the full range of travel.
Using a 6-mm Allen key, loosen and adjust the limit stop blocks inside the actuator, to set
the limits of travel. Retighten the limit stops securely. Only a small amount of adjustment
should be necessary if the mounting brackets are located correctly.
The drive sets the limits of travel by sensing the force exerted on these stops, so they must
be located securely.
