ECO power steering pump
On the new Vito and Viano, an
e
lectronically
c
ontrolled
o
rifice (ECO) is flange-mounted to the
power steering pump.
This valve is actuated by the ESP control unit in corre-
lation with the steering angle, the steering angle rate
of change and the vehicle speed and serves to regu-
late the power steering pump volume flow.
Reducing the volume flow causes the passage pres-
sure in the power steering fluid circuit to drop and thus
reduces the pump's power consumption.

17" light alloy rim
The new 17" light alloy rim enhances the perceived
value of the Viano's AMBIENTE line. The eye-catching
dovetail design is characterized by a sporty yet
elegant look combined with a powerful, robust
charisma.
The hub is adorned by the blue circle with the
Mercedes-Benz inscription. This rim comes standard
on the Viano AMBIENTE and is available for all other
vehicle variants as special equipment.
