Fitting/removing poly-V-belts

Example: releasing the poly-V-belt

Insert the 15 mm socket, with the handle
and extension attached, into the tensioner.

Swing the tensioning pulley up and remove
the poly-V-belt.

Swing back the tensioner.

Check that both the tensioner and the belt
pulley are in fault-free condition. Check for
such defects as worn bearings in the ten-
sioner, tensioning pulley and guide pulleys
