Suspension threshold values
5.2.1 Gross axle weight rating (GAWR)

WARNING
Make sure that you do not exceed the GAWR. Doing
so would prevent the ESP
®
system from functioning
correctly on vehicles which are equipped with this
feature. The driver could lose control of the vehicle
as a result and cause an accident resulting in serious
injury or death.
Furthermore, any overloading may result in damage
to the suspension and structural parts.

For further information on permissible axle loads,
refer to 2 “General and regulatory” (

WARNING
The maximum center of gravity values must not be
exceeded. The maximum axle loads and wheel loads
must not be exceeded. Exceeding the maximum
center of gravity, axle load or wheel load values can
cause accidents resulting in injury or death.
