Remove fuel filler cap

from the filler

connector.

If a malfunction is detected during the
refueling procedure, the hazard warning
flasher comes on.
There may be a hydrogen (H

2

) leak.

R

Stop the refueling procedure immediately.

R

Unlock filler nozzle and remove it.

R

Inform the hydrogen (H

2

) station operator.

Hydrogen (H

2

) is highly flammable. Never

allow sparks, flames or smoking materials
inside or near the vehicle while at the refueling
station.

The filler nozzle may vary depending on the
hydrogen (H

2

) station. Have a hydrogen (H

2

)

station operator show you the correct
procedure for refueling.

for any visible

damage, e.g. cracks.

If the sealing ring is damaged, do not continue
refueling procedure.
Contact an authorized F-CELL Service Center.

Close the fuel filler flap before locking the

vehicle. Otherwise the flap locking pin will
prevent closing the fuel filler flap.

remove the caps on high-temperature
expansion tank and low-temperature
expansion tank. Otherwise, you could be
seriously burned.
Have coolant refilled only by an authorized
F-CELL Service Center.

Only add the special coolant required for

your F-CELL vehicle.
For your safety, we strongly recommend
that you visit an authorized F-CELL Service
Center. Never use water or common
antifreeze

Engine compartment

Do not pull the release lever while the vehicle
is in motion. Otherwise the hood could be
forced open by passing air flow.
This could cause the hood to come loose and
injure you and/or others.
