The autom atic clim ate control
system is designed to maintain the
desired tem perature in the vehicle
interior. Heating, cooling and air
distribution (top, center, bottom ) are
controlled automatically.
The autom atic climate control
system w ill w ork only if the engine is
running.
For adaptation to the w eather con­
ditions various functions can be se­
lected with the push buttons. To do
this, open, close or swivel air outlets
8 and 9 as required. The air outlets
can be opened or closed by rotating
the swivelling inserts (turn clo ck­
wise to open, turn counterclockw ise
to close).
In order to ensure that the autom atic
climate control functions properly,
do not close all the air outlets 8
and 9.
Buttons 2 - 7 can only be pushed
separately. The indicator lamps in
the individual buttons come on if the
buttons are pushed and the lighting
switch is in position 1 or 2.
