SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• Never use the slicer for anything other than the purpose it was designed for.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
• Never immerse the slicer, the power cord or the plug in water or any other
liquid – risk of electric shock and/or material damage.
• Do not use the slicer if it is damaged or not working properly, or if the power
cord or plug are damaged. Take the slicer to an authorised service centre to be
checked, repaired or adjusted.
• Do not use the slicer outdoors.
• Do not use the slicer if it not fully assembled.
• Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop, or to
come into contact with sharp edges or hot surfaces.
• Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug from the mains.
• Do not use the slicer in damp conditions, or near water or any other liquid.
• Do not place the slicer near the edge of a table or worktop, or where there is a
risk of it falling down.
• Do not use accessories other than those supplied with the slicer. The use of
other accessories can result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
• Do not put the slicer on or near a hot stove, or in a hot oven.
• Unplug the power cord when the slicer is not in use, and before replacing parts
or cleaning.
• Never wash the slicer or any of its parts in a dishwasher.
