ZERO button
[ZERO]
button for manually zero point correction of the integrated
sensor.
External influences such as temperature, position or ambient
pressure may cause the zero point of the instrument, i.e. the
display with pressure inputs open, to change. During the zero point
correction, the instrument automatically determines these changes
and calculates them into the current pressure display. The zero point
correction requires a switching of the internal valves, which is not
possible without pressure loss.
(If this should interfere with the application, the automatic zero point
correction can be switched off.)
The display screen behind the foil is made from glass. If there is any possibility
of the screen breaking during operation, incl. destruction of the front foil, all
personnel in the vicinity of the instrument must wear safety goggles before and
during its use.
