Cleaning
Clean the charging cable only when
unplugged!

f Use a dry cloth for cleaning and wiping the charging
cable.

f Clean the charging cable only when unplugged.
f Ensure that no water reaches the contact parts.

Material damage due to incorrect cleaning
Incorrect cleaning may cause damage to the charging
cable.
f Ensure that no water reaches the contact parts.
f Do not use compressed air or high pressure cleaners.
Use only water for cleaning without the addition of deter -
gents.
f Wipe the charging cable with a damp cloth.
Storage
Attach the factory installed protective cap after use
and roll up the charging cable without kinks. Stow
the charging cable properly in your vehicle.
Clean the cable before storing for an extended peri
-
od. Pack the charging cable in its original packaging
and store it in a clean, dry place. Note also the infor -
mation on the outside of the housing.
Disposal
The charging cable must not be disposed of with
normal household waste. Use a collection point for
the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment.
