User Interfaces
The NM50 provides the following user interfaces to configure the system, get status
information, perform firmware updates, install additional software packages and get
access to the OpenWrt Linux shell (BusyBox)

LuCI Web Interface
Per default, the LuCI web interface is accessible via the NM50 LAN port (ETH1) from a
web browser.
Carry out the following steps to access the web interface:

Connect the PC to the ETH1 port of the NM50 (either directly or through a switch).

Configure the PC's network interface to get its IP address, gateway, and DNS auto-
matically (from the DHCP server).
»
Open a web browser and type address http://192.168.1.1 (default IP address).

In login window, in the
Username
field type
root
»
The
Password
field can remain empty (no password required for the first login)
»
Click on
Login
»
Navigate to the System
Administration page and set a password (press the <Save
& Apply> button to save the new password).
The web interface functionality is divided into four main menus:
