Updating Firmware on Managed Switches

When you buy the switch, it comes with the latest firmware burned on the board. All firmware
updates should be done through the management software. Go to the Mellanox Website and con-
firm that the firmware is the latest. If not reburn the latest firmware from the download site. New
firmware versions will be posted on the Mellanox firmware download page:

http://www.mellanox.com

=> Support > Download Center.

You will also need to download and unzip the firmware binary image. This is provided in the Mel-
lanox Web site at:

http://www.mellanox.com

=> Support > Download Center and go to the InfiniS-

cale IV Switch systems. Click in the Table for the firmware image that you need.
