INTRODUCTION:
The Rice Cooker provides a simple, trouble
free method for cooking perfect rice. The
warm function automatically keeps the
rice warm, fluffy and ready to serve for up
to 5 hours. The large capacity of the Rice
cooker makes it possible to prepare rice
economically for a family, for a party or for
bulk cooking for the freezer.
Important: Please read these instructions
before using your new Rice cooker and
keep it in a safe place for future reference.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
When using electrical appliances basic
safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
• Read all instructions.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles
or knobs.
• To protect against electrical hazards,
do not immerse cord, plugs or the
appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when
any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and
before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off pads.

• As the rice cooker produces and
discharges steam when in use, the lid
should always be used. This is to avoid
any risk of scalding, burning or other
personal injury.
• To disconnect, remove plug from wall
outlet.
• CAUTION: This appliance generates
heat and escaping steam during use.
Proper precaution must be taken to
prevent the risk of burns, fires or other
damage to persons or property.
• This appliance generates steam. Do not
operate uncovered.
• Do not leave this appliance unattended
during use.
• This appliance is for household use only.
Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.
• Do not place the rice Bowl on other heat
sources (e.g. Cooking stove) as it may
become deformed.
• Do not block the Steam Vent Hole.
• During or immediately after cooking, the
area near the Steam vent hole is kept at
high temperature. To avoid burns do not
touch this area.
• This appliance can be used by
children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with
the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• The appliance shall not be operated by
means of an external timer, or a separate
remote control system
• If the appliance, cord or plug has
been damaged, have the appliance
inspected and if necessary repaired
by an authorised repairer. Never try to
repair the appliance yourself. Please
contact the store where you bought
the appliance for repairs under the
guarantee. Unauthorised repairs or
modifications to the appliance will
invalidate the guarantee.
