PRACTICAL HINTS
• In order to maintain the crispness of
the waffles, place them next to each
other on a rack to cool. (Placed on
top of each other, the waffle will lose
their crispness).
• If milk is used instead of water, the
waffles will be softer and darker.
• In order to achieve even browning,
all ingredients should have the same
temperature.
Recipe
You will need:
180 g flour
130 g sugar
0.5 tbsp vanilla sugar
0.5 tbsp baking powder
0.25 tsp salt
3 eggs
1.5 tbsp oil
110 g water
Method
1. Heat the waffle iron up.
2. Combine the flour, sugar, vanilla
sugar, baking powder and salt in a
bowl and then add the eggs, oil and
water. Whisk thoroughly to a smooth
consistency with no lumps.
3. Brush a little oil into each indentation
and fill with batter to cover all the
indentations in the waffle iron. Allow
the waffles to bake until golden
brown.
CLEANING AND CARE

use water or any other kind of liquid
on the waffle iron nor immerse it.
• Clean the outside of the appliance
with a soft damp cloth only.
• The non-stick coated plates can be
cleaned with a damp cloth or a soft
