BEFORE USE
• Once the appliance has been
unpacked, you must ensure that any
packaging inside the appliance itself
is also removed.
• Wipe the appliance’s hotplates with
a damp cloth before using it for the
first time (see Cleaning). Then oil
the hotplates with a small amount of
butter, margarine or cooking oil.
• Switch the appliance on and allow it
to stand open for 5 minutes while it
heats up. Allow it to cool and wipe the
hotplates with a piece of kitchen roll.
REPLACING THE HOTPLATES
The appliance must have cooled down
completely before replacing the hotplates!
The hotplates must be replaced in pairs.
• Hold your hand under the top hotplate
and press the release button (2).
Remove the hotplate and put the
other hotplate in position so that it
clicks into place.
• Press the release button (5) and lift
the bottom hotplate up. Remove the
hotplate and put the other hotplate in
position so that it clicks into place.
USE
• Start by preparing the mixture. The
appliance can bake small cakes
using, for instance, brownie mix,
muffin mix, cake mixes, and any
homemade mix for similar types of
cakes. See the recipes later in these
instructions.
