USE
• Place the appliance on a level sur-
face.
• Coat the hotplates with a small
amount of vegetable oil. Vegetable oil
can be applied with kitchen roll.
• Plug in. The red indicator light comes
on and the appliance begins to heat
up.
• When the green indicator light comes
on, the appliance has reached the
correct temperature and is ready for
use.
• Now carefully place an 8 inch tortilla
on the bottom hotplate. Be very care-
ful, as the hotplates will be extremely
hot!
• Lock the handle by clipping the lock-
ing latch (1) on the top section to the
bottom section of the handle.
• Both hotplates on the appliance are
heated, which reduces the cooking
time.
• The tortilla is ready after approxi-
mately 1-3 minutes, depending on its
thickness and browning level.
• If you want the tortilla to be more
golden, you should toast it a little
longer.
• You can stop the cooking process at
any time by removing the plug from
the socket.
• Once the tortilla is ready, open the
appliance carefully.
• Carefully release the tortilla using a
heat-resistant plastic spatula or simi-
lar. You must not use metal utensils
or utensils with a sharp edge on the
hotplates, as these have a special
non-stick coating. Instead use plastic,
melamine or wooden utensils.
• Close the lid and unplug the appli-
ance once you have finished using it.
• Before cleaning and storing the
appliance, make sure it has cooled
completely.
