switch when moving the power tool or
have the power tool switched on

this may lead to accidents.

wrenches before turning the power
tool on.
A wrench or a key left
attached to a rotating part of the
power tool may cause injury.

Do not overreach. Keep proper
footing and balance at all times.
This enables better control of the

loose clothing or jewellery. Keep hair
and clothing away from moving
parts.

4 Power tool use and care

Do not overload your power tool
Use the appropriate power tool for
the task in hand.
The correct power
tool will do the job better and safer in
the specified performance range.

Do not use the power tool if the
switch does not turn it on and off.
Any power tool that cannot be con-
trolled with the switch is dangerous
and must be repaired.

Pull the plug out of the socket and/
or remove a removable battery
pack before making any changes to
the device settings, changing inser
tion tools or putting the power tool
down.
This precautionary safety
measure prevents the risk of the
power tool starting up accidentally.

Store power tools that are not in
use out of the reach of children. Do
not anyone to operate the power
tool who is not familiar with it, or
who has not read these instruc
tions.
Power tools are dangerous
when used by inexperienced persons.

Look after your power tools and
tool inserts carefully. Check wheth
er moving parts function properly
and do not bind, check whether
parts are broken or damaged in
such a way that the functionality of
the power tool is affected. Have any
damaged parts repaired before
using the power tool.

Properly maintained cutting tools with
sharp cutting edges are less likely to
bind and are easier to control.
