Operation during washing
At first, put the items in the wash basket. It can be placed without being previously sorted.
Nevertheless observe the following basic points:
Salad etc. to be divided into leafs.
Put only such a quantity of items in the wash basket that they can move freely in the
wash water and do not stack together.
Wash basket with items to be located on the basket carrier.
A suitable quantity of salt can be added if the items are heavily infested by snails and
other insects.
Close basket with lid.
Close tank lid.
Set wash power.
Besides the reliable cleaning the gentle treatment of the items is most important.
Delicate vegetables could be damaged by improper washing and spinning.
Therefore the wash time, wash power and spin time must correspond to the soiling
degree and the resistance of the items to be washed.
The pre-selected programme (combined wash power, wash time and spin time) is
memorized, so you only have to press the start key to repeat the same programme.
Naturally these parameters can be modified during any operation pause.
"Gentle wash programme"
In this programme only one of both circulation pumps is running. Thus guaranteeing the
gentle cleaning of delicate items, f. ex. salad.
"Strong-wash programme"
The running of both circulation pumps allows a strong washing of the items. Tuberous
plant¸ pomaceous fruit and stone-fruit are washed with this programme.
"Delicate wash programme"
This is a pure soak rinse cycle, which means that the circulation pumps are not in
operation. The items are only soaked by the periodical lifting and lowering through the tank
water and rinsed by the rinse nozzles in the upper basket position. This programme is
particularly suitable for lightly soiled items which are very delicate, f. ex. rasperries and
strawberries.
Setting of wash time
Depending on the degree of soiling you can select the 2 or 4 min. short programmes or the
6 or 8 min. intensive programmes.
For lightly soiled items such as salad grown under glass, select short wash times and wash
more heavily soiled items with maximum wash strentgh with intensive programmes.
Setting of spin time
The spin time can only be set if a „gentle wash programme“ is pre-selected. Mainly salads -
but also other leaf vegetables - are spun after the wash cycle.
Salads are spun 1 up to 2 minutes, berries 1 minute. If necessary the spin time can be
increased up to 4 resp. 8 minutes.
CAUTION!
No baskets with e.g. tuber vegetable, apple or pears hurl! Unequally loaded, heavy
baskets could lead to damages at the machine.
If rotary heavy baskets, after opening the cover, are braked by hand, danger of injury
exists.
