6. Testing WIP-1 overcurrent relay with SVERKER 900.
6.1. Introduction
The WIP-
1 relay is tested from direct secondary injection, as it would be done from any “conventional” relay
connected to main CTs.
There is one additional test, characteristic to WIP-1 relay that is necessary to perform both in commissioning
and in maintenance conditions; this test enables a self-testing (self-supervision) through a special procedure
that tests the “tripping circuit” and other signals (Figure 27).

The above test is a complement to the relay secondary injection tests that are executed in the normal way
6.2. Testing the phase overcurrent relay.
6.2.1. Relay settings.
The phase overcurrent protection relay has the following settings in secondary values:
