Operation

Riding

While riding, always ride within your ability and take account of the conditions, including road surfaces and the
weather.

!

Caution

Remember visibility can be reduced in poor weather conditions and braking distances increase on wet and

slippery road surfaces.

The style and manner in which you ride will affect aspects such as fuel consumption and the amount of wear on
components of the bike. By avoiding excessive acceleration, engine revs and shifting quickly up through the gears the
fuel consumption will be reduced and this will also reduce the wear on the engine, brakes and tyres.
