What if the motor runs but my Travel Scooter does not move?
Your Travel Scooter was probably left in freewheel mode.
When the manual freewheel lever is pushed forward, the brakes are disengaged and all power to the
motor/transaxle is cut.
Pull the manual freewheel lever backward to restore normal operation to your Travel Scooter.
What if the main circuit breaker trips repeatedly?
Charge the Travel Scooter’s batteries more frequently. See IV. “Batteries and Charging.”
See IV. “Batteries and Charging” or “Appendix I - Specifications” for information about your Travel
Scooter’s battery type.
If the main circuit breaker trips repeatedly, contact 1-800-MEGA-508 for service.
What if the battery condition meter dips way down and the motor surges or hesitates when I press
the throttle control lever?
Fully charge your Travel Scooter’s batteries. See IV. “Batteries and Charging.”
Have each battery load tested. Contact 1-800-MEGA-508 for service.
What if all the systems on my Travel Scooter seem to be “dead”?
Make certain that the key is in the “on” position.
Check that the batteries are fully charged. See IV. “Batteries and Charging.”
Push in the main circuit breaker reset button. See III. “Your Travel Scooter.”
Be sure the power down timer feature hasn’t been activated.
If having changed a battery recently, ensure all the battery connections secure.
