Care and Cleaning
The probe tip (lens) is the most fragile part of the thermometer. It is essential you keep it clean at all times and avoid exposure
to hot steam, water, and dirt.
Cleaning the lens:
Very gently wipe the surface with a cotton swab or soft cloth moistened with an alcohol solution. And allow to dry out com-
pletely. Please avoid cleaning the lens unless strictly necessary.
Cleaning the body:
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the thermometer display and body. If very dirty, use a soft cloth with an alcohol solution.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS, SOLUTIONS, OR SUBMERGE IN WATER.

1. The temperature readings are too close together
2. The object temperature is higher than 100.0°.
Please leave the status for at least
30 minutes then re-measure after
adjusting as necessary.
The thermometer is
showing the symbol
“Lo”
In forehead measurement mode “Lo” < 32.0°C;
1. The measuring distance is too far
2. The device is measuring interference i.e. environment
temperature, air conditioner air.
In surface measurement mode “Lo” < 0°C;
1. The measuring distance is too far
2. There is water vapour condensation on the lens
Please leave the status for at least
30 minutes then re-measure after
adjusting as necessary.
“Err” Error symbol is
displaying
1. The ambient temperature is beyond the range of
measurement (10.0°C—40.0°C)
2. The sensor or hardware is damaged
1. Keep the thermometer where it is
and allow 30 minutes to adjust to
the ambient temperature or change
locations
2. Contact manufacturer to trouble-
