Reinstall all safety devices and guards following repairs and maintenance.
Do not expose power tools to rain.
Do not use power tools in damp or wet places.
Keep the work area clean and well lit.
Do not use power tools in explosive environments, such as in the vicinity of flammable liquids,
gases or dust.
Avoid body contact with earthed surfaces such as pipes, radiators, cookers and refrigerators.
When not in use, store the tool in a dry place out of the reach of children.
Do not pull the power cord to disconnect the plug from the mains socket. Keep the power cord
away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
Keep the handles clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the cord.
If using the machine outdoors, only use an extension cord approved for outdoor use.
Do not use the tool if it cannot be switched on and off using the power switch.
The tool cannot be used for cutting slots/grooves.
Only use blades that can cope with the maximum speed of the tool and the material to be cut.
Use appropriate transport equipment to move the tool. Never lift from the protective devices when
handling or transporting the tool.
The upper part of the saw blade must be covered, for example, with the guard during transport.
Important safety instructions for the laser beam
The tool uses a laser beam class 1 with a maximum output of 390
μ
W and a wavelength of 650
nm. Such lasers usually involve no risk of eye injury. However, do not look into the beam, it can
dazzle.

Always follow the manufacturer's instructions for use and maintenance.
Never aim the laser beam at people or animals or objects other than the workpiece.
The laser beam should never enter a human eye for longer than 0.25 seconds.
Do not aim the laser beam at reflective surfaces that can be reflect the beam towards the user.
Do not replace the laser unit with a unit of another type. Maintenance and repair may only be
carried out by the manufacturer or at an authorised service centre.

Do not perform any operations not described in the operating instructions - risk of
harmful laser radiation.
The tool meets the relevant guidelines and standards.
The tool is portable.
To move the tool, take a firm grip on its front and rear edges with both hands and lift.
If the original base is not used, the tool must be placed firmly on a stable, bench-like stand. The
working height must be 850 mm.
Stand in front of the tool, to the left of the saw blade, during use.
The work area and the area around the tool must be kept free from unrelated objects and debris, to
reduce the risk of accidents.
The workpiece must be free of nails, screws and other foreign objects.
Before use, connect the tool to a dust extractor with a flexible, non-flammable extractor hose. The
dust extraction device will be turned on automatically at the same time as the tool is turned on.
Always use dust extraction, with an underpressure of 1200 Pa and an air velocity of at least 20 m/s,
when sawing in closed areas.
When used in commercial areas the dust extraction equipment must be used. Do not disconnect
and do not turn off the dust extraction system when the tool is running.
The tool is designed to cut wood and similar materials. Only use saw blades and other spare parts
recommended by the manufacturer. Use a suitable saw blade for the work duty and the material.
Only use saw blades that satisfy the requirements in accordance with EN 847-1.
Do not use the tool if it is damaged or defective in any way. The tool may only be used in the
intended manner and in accordance with these instructions. Never allow children, or anyone who is
unfamiliar with the power tool and these instructions, to use the tool. Rectify any faults and safety
deficiencies immediately, before the tool is used again.
