Remove the cap and press the measuring

reading.
Hold
the

during
measurement. If the pins are firmly stuck in
the measurement object you can release the

reading by measuring once again at another
point close to the first.

After measuring, switch off the product and replace the cap. Store in a clean and dry place.
NOTE:
The product does not switch off automatically. To save the battery, check that the product is
switched off when not in use.
Tips
When measuring moisture in very hard wood, drill 2 holes with a diameter of 1 mm and 20 mm
apart, so that the measuring pins can be inserted in the holes. Be careful when drilling not to drive
the moisture out of the wood, which can result in an incorrect reading.
Do not measure where there can be powerful electromagnetic fields, e.g. near large machines.
Electromagnetic fields can result in the display showing incorrect readings.
For best results the material should be stored at the measuring place for some time before the
measurement is carried out. Take the ambient temperature into consideration during the
measurements. An optimal ambient temperature for measuring is 21
–22°C. At lower ambient
temperatures the reading will be lower, and at higher ambient temperatures the reading will be
higher.
