OPERATION
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use.
Save these instructions for future reference.
Inserting the battery
1.
Open the battery compartment on the back of the moisture meter.
2.
Insert the battery with the correct polarity.
3.
Replace the battery cover.
4.
Press the power switch and check that the lowest indicator flashes.
Use
Carry out a function check.
1.
Put the power switch in the ON position (pressed in). The lower indicator flashes to show that the
product is switched on.
2.
Replace the battery if the battery voltage is too low.
3.
Remove the cap over the measuring pins and short circuit the pins with a metal object. All the
indicators should light up in sequence from the top and down, after which the highest moisture
reading, 24, should be indicated. Remove the short circuit. All the indicators should light up in
sequence from the bottom and up, after which all the indicators should go off. The bottom light in
the display also indicates power On and discharged battery.
