Storage of the generator for prolonged periods
1. Ensure that there is not too much moisture and dust where it is stored.
2. Change the engine oil.
3. Remove the spark plug and pour roughly a tablespoon of engine oil into the cylinder.
4. Rotate the engine a few turns in order to spread the oil and then put the spark plug in again.
5. Slowly pull out the starter handle until there is tension. At this point the piston reaches the
compression phase and both the inlet and outlet valves are closed. Storing the engine in this
position protects it against internal corrosion.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The engine does
not start. The fuel has run out. Refill with fuel.
The engine switch is
in the OFF position. Set the engine switch
to the ON position.
The oil level is too low. Fill up with
recommended oil.
No spark from the
spark plug. Replace the spark plug. Take the generator to

No current in the
DC outlet. The DC circuit has
tripped. Press in the reset button. Take the generator to
an authorised workshop.
Connected equipment
does not work. The electrical equipment
is faulty. Replace the electrical
equipment.
Ensure that the electrical
equipment is repaired.
The output indicator
lamp is on. The electrical equipment
is faulty. Replace the electrical
equipment.
The overload indicator
lamp is on. The electrical equipment
is faulty. Replace the electrical
equipment.
