STOPPING THE ENGINE
NB If the engine needs to be stopped in an emergency the engine switch must be set to OFF.
1. Turn off the connected equipment and unplug it.
2. Set the engine switch to the OFF position.
3. Close the fuel cap vent valve.
Check that the fuel cap’s vent valve, the choke and the engine switch are in the OFF position when
shutting down, transporting and/or storing the generator.
MAINTENANCE
NB
• Switch off the engine before any maintenance is carried out. Ensure that the surrounding area
around where the engine is run is well ventilated. The exhaust gases contain poisonous carbon
monoxide gas.
• Use branded spare parts or parts of matching quality. Parts which are not of matching quality
may cause damage to the generator.
