USE
Intended use
This submersible pump can be used to drain
rainwater, infiltration water and wastewater
from households, or for pumping overflows.
The pump can be submerged fully or partially
under the surface of the water.
Connection
• Check that the rated voltage on the type
plate corresponds to the mains supply
voltage.
• Check that the electrical system has a
residual current device with a tripping
current of 30 mA.
• A ball coupling should be installed to
simplify cleaning and maintenance.
• The pump has a preset float switch.
To change the setting the length of the
float switch cable must be adjusted by
pushing it in or pulling it out from the
opening in the handle.
Starting the pump
• The power cord should be of the H05 RN-F
or H07 RN-F type.
• The plug and connections must be
watertight.
• Check the pump (especially the power cord
and plug) before using it. Do not use the
pump if it is damaged.
• Check that the electrical connections are
protected from overflows.
• Keep the power cord and plug away from
heat, oil and sharp edges.
• Start the pump by plugging the plug into a
power point.
• The pump starts when the float switch
reaches the set level.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
Make sure the pump is unplugged from the
mains before carrying out maintenance or
repairs.
In normal conditions the pump does not require
any maintenance.
Storage
Store the pump in a dry, frost-free place when
not in use.
