• Regularly check that all the screw and hydraulic connections are correctly tightened.
• Never use the log splitter on slippery or unsafe surfaces – risk of personal injury.
• Never leave the log splitter unattended when running.
• Do not expose the log splitter to rain or moisture – risk of electric shock.
• Make sure the work area is well lit.
• Never modify the motor speed. The maximum motor speed is set at the factory
to comply with the applicable safety regulations.
• Switch off the log splitter immediately and unplug the power cord in the event
of a fault or abnormal function. Example: If the log splitter’s noise level
increases or the piston moves unevenly, this could mean that the hydraulic
fluid level is too low. Check and top-up when necessary according to the
instructions in the maintenance section.
• Do not pull the power cord to unplug the plug.
