Place the holder for the cutterhead over the fixed table (see
diagram). The holder for the cutterhead holder should be placed
with the surface towards the top of the fixed table, towards the
end surface of the table and the edge of the planing bit.
9.
Grip the cutterhead holder with one hand and tighten the
locking screws anticlockwise with the supplied spanner.
10.
Move back the cutter guard so it covers the cutterhead.
MAINTENANCE
NOTE:
Switch off the planer, unplug the power cord and wait until all moving parts have completely stopped before carrying out any maintenance. Fit all
the safety devices when you have finished.
The following parts should be lubricated at intervals of 10 working hours:
• Infeed and outfeed roller bearings.
• Pulley bearings.
• Spindles to adjust table (use only dry lubricant).
Cleaning
• Keep the surface of the table and the infeed and outfeed rollers clean and free from resin etc. for best results. Clean the infeed rollers when
necessary. Clean by immersing the parts in white spirit or the equivalent for one day.
• Always keep the ventilation openings clean, otherwise there is a risk of overheating.
