OPERATION
BEFORE USE
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the rated voltage on the type plate and read these
instructions carefully before use�
• Check all the connections are correctly fitted before use�
USE
• Do not try to control the sanding head�
• Hold the tool firmly with both hands when sanding�
• Do not press too hard on the tool – risk of overloading� The correct pressure produces better
sanding�
• Use the correct sanding material for the best results�
• Plug in the power cord�
• Lift the sanding head from the work surface before starting the tool�
• Start the tool and start sanding�
• Switch off the tool after finishing the work�
• Always switch off the tool and unplug the power cord before making adjustments, or doing any
maintenance or cleaning�
MAINTENANCE
IMPORTANT

accessories� The power tool must only be repaired by qualified personnel or an authorised service
centre�
A damaged power cord must be replaced by an authorised service centre, or qualified person, to
ensure safe use� Any faults should only be repaired by qualified personnel or an authorised service
centre�
NOTE:
The tool does not require any special lubrication or maintenance� Store the tool in a dry place�
CLEANING
• Keep the safety devices on the tool, and the ventilation openings and motor casing clean� Clean
the tool with a clean cloth, or with compressed air at low pressure�
• Always clean the tool after use�
• Clean the tool with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent� Never use strong detergents or
solvents, they could damage the plastic parts on the tool� Never allow water to enter the tool�
CARBON BRUSHES
Allow an authorised electrician to check the carbon brushes in the event of heavy sparking�
