Sawing along the sawing line
1.
Turn the selector (18) to the position for sawing along the sawing line.
2.
Press the lock button (1) for the power switch and press down the
motor. The motor stops at a sawing depth of 2.5 mm.
NOTE:
The sawing line should be aligned to the sawing line pointer A
(marking 0).
Plunge sawing
1.
For straight sawing, release the two knobs (8) and turn the tool to position 0° on the scale. Tighten
the knobs (8).
2.
Turn the selector (18) to the position for plunge sawing.
3.
Set the required sawing depth. Check that the lever to compensate for the thickness of the guide
rail (10) is lifted up when sawing without the guide rail.
4.
Press the lock button (1) for the power switch and then the power switch (2) and press down the
motor.
5.
Move the tool forward to start sawing.
NOTE:
Take the following measures to prevent kickback during plunge sawing.
Place the back edge of the base (4) against a fixed stop.
Hold the tool firmly with both hands and slowly lower the blade.
The sawing width indicators (16) show the front and back sawing points for the blade (Ø 165 mm)
at maximum sawing depth when using the guide rail.
Changing the blade
1.
Switch off the tool, unplug the power cord and wait until all moving parts have stopped completely
before carrying out any maintenance.
2.
Release the two knobs (8) and turn the tool to position 0° on the scale before changing the blade.
Tighten the knobs (8).
3.
Turn the selector (18) to the position for replacing the
blade.
4.
Press in the lock button (1) and press down the motor.
5.
Press in the spindle lock button (19).
6.
Turn the screw for the blade clockwise or anticlockwise a little with a 5 mm hex key, so that the
spindle lock engages.
7.
Undo the screw anticlockwise with the hex key. Remove the outer flange and the blade.

Clean the blade flanges and fit the new blade.
NOTE:
The direction of rotation of the blade must
correspond with the arrow on the casing.
2.
Fit the outer flange so that the guide pin goes in the recess in the inner flange.
3.
Press in the spindle lock button (19) and tighten the screw. Press the lock button (1) so that the
motor returns to its original position.
