Check the following points before contacting the retailer for a service.

The soldering tip does not get
hot.
No power supply.
Check that the power point is
supplied with voltage and that
the plug is correctly plugged in.
The power cord or plug is
damaged.
Take the product to an
authorised service centre to
replace the power cord.
The solder does not spread
uniformly over the soldering
tip.
The working temperature is
too low.
Set a higher working
temperature.
The soldering tip is loose.
Switch off the product, allow
it to cool and tighten the
soldering tip.
