• Put the wood to be sawn on the table (19)
and against the fence (13).
• Fix the material on the fixed table (18)
with the clamping device (8) to prevent it
moving during the sawing.
• Press the interlock button (3) to release
the power switch (2).
• Press the power switch (2) to switch on
the motor.
• If the slide control is fixed
– Gently and smoothly lower the
machine head (4) with the handle
(1) until the saw blade (7) has sawn
through the wood.
• If the slide control is not fixed
– Pull forward the machine head (4)
and then lower it gently all with way
down with the handle (1).
• Push the machine head (4) slowly back
smoothly until with the saw blade (7) has
sawn through the wood.
• Release the machine head (4) to the top
rest position after you have finished
sawing. Release the power switch (2).
NOTE:
The machine goes up automatically because
of the return spring. For this reason do not
release the handle (1) after sawing, raise
the machine head (4) instead slowly with a
gently back pressure.
CROSSCUTTING 90° WITH TABLE
AT 0°-45° (DIAGRAMS 1-3, 17)
The saw can be used for crosscutting at 0°
- 45° to the left and 0° - 45° to the right in
relation to the fence.
• Swing up the machine head (4).
• Set the lock lever (20) in the top position
so that the table can be adjusted.
• The fence (14) must be fixed far enough
in front of the inside position that the
gap between the fence (14) and the saw
blade (7) is max 8 mm.
• Check before sawing the wood that the
fence cannot collide with the saw blade.
• Tighten the ratchet handle (15) again.
WARNING!
This saw has a removable fence (48) which
is screwed to the fixed fence (13). For 0 - 45°
mitre sawing to the right (with the machine
head (4) tilted or table with angle setting)
the removable fence (48) must be taken
off. Warning: This reduces the maximum
permitted height for the workpiece.
• Open the adjusting screw (49) for the
removable fence (48) with a hex key
(sold separately).
• Pull off the removable fence upwards.
• Always replace the fence (48) on the
machine after the sawing is finished.
• The fence must always be kept on the
machine. Removing a fence reduces the
safety of the machine.
CROSSCUTTING 90° WITH TABLE
AT 0° (DIAGRAMS 1-3, 16)
With saw widths up to about 100 mm the saw
can be fixed in the back position with fixing
screw for slide control (29). If the saw width if
more than 100 mm you must make sure that
the fixing screw for the slide control (29) has
been released and that the machine head (4)
is moveable.
• Put the machine head (4) in the top
position.
• Push the machine head (4) backwards
with the handle (1) and fix in this position
(depending on saw width).
