FINE ADJUSTMENT OF ANGLE
FENCE FOR STRAIGHT (90°)
CROSSCUTTING
IMPORTANT:
The saw must not be connected to the mains
when adjusting or replacing the blade.

1. Lower the saw head and lock it with the
lock pin.
2. Release the lock knob.
3. Place a set square between the blade and
the turntable.
4. Undo the lock nut and turn the adjusting
screw until the angle between the saw
blade and turntable is 90°.
5. Lock this setting by tightening the lock
nut.
6. Check the position of the pointer (fig.
12) in connection with this setting. If
necessary, release the pointer with a
Phillips screwdriver and move it to 0°
on the angle scale and tighten.
NOTE:
Set square and Phillips screwdriver sold
separately.

FENCE FOR MITRING (45°)
IMPORTANT:
The saw must not be connected to the mains
when adjusting or replacing the blade.

• Lower the saw head and lock it with the
lock pin.
• Lock the turntable at 0°.
• Release the lock knob, grip the handle
and angle the saw head at 45° to the left.
• Place a 45° set square between the blade
and the turntable.
ADJUSTING

• The turntable has index positions at 0°,
15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45°. Do as follows to
change the position of the turntable:
– 1. Lift up the lock lever.
– 2. Press down the release button.
– 3. Turn the turntable to the required
position.
– 4. Release the release button.
– 5. Press down the lock lever.
• The turntable can also be used at other
angles than the fixed index positions.
• Carefully press down the saw head and
pull out the lock pin to release the saw
head from its lower end position.
• Swing up the saw head.
• The saw head can be angled up to 45° to
the left by releasing the clamp handle.
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds
to the rated voltage on the type plate and
then plug in the plug.

1. Lower the saw head and lock it with the
lock pin.
2. Lock the turntable at 0°.
3. Place a set square between the blade and
the fence.
4. Lock the four adjusting screws, set the
fence at right angles to the blade, and
tighten the screws.
NOTE:
Set square sold separately.
