6.2 Replacing sides 

With the pedestal on its side, loosen (2 or 4, depending on configuration) connector bolts 
with a 5mm hex drive or wrench.  Remove the side (Figure 3).  Make sure the washers stay 
on top of the rods. 

If this is a two shelf unit, place the new side on the washers and reattach with the connector 
bolts.  If replacing two sides, flip the unit so the other side is facing up and repeat the 
process. 

If this unit has drawer(s), remove the drawer slide(s) from the old side by removing the (4) 
screws in the slide and attach the slide to the new side with the screws (DO NOT 
OVERTIGHTEN).  If new drawer slides were ordered, attach the new slides to the new side 
(Figure 4).  Place the side on the washers and reconnect the connector bolts.  Make sure 
slide tabs are oriented as shown in Figure 4 (opening up).  If replacing two sides, repeat the 
process.

6.3 Reattaching the pedestal 

Reattach the pedestal by aligning the post holes with the posts from the top (may require 
assistance) and holding the pedestal tight to the top.  Tighten the (4) cams by turning 
clockwise until tight.  Add the drawers or shelves.
