Insert/replace
batteries
When the battery energy begins to be expended, the red LED
begins to
blink. In order to ensure proper functioning of the device, change the batteries.
To do this, push the battery compartment lid
on the bottom of the device
away toward the back. Remove both batteries and replace them with two new
batteries of the same type (two 3V Lithium CR 2032). When inserting them,
make sure that the + ends face the bottom of the device (the side with the type
plate). Close the battery compartment.
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION

The
MEDISANA ACS/ACP
can be used in three ways:
Search mode:
this locates the acupuncture point.
Manual treatment:
no time limit for the treatment.
Treatment with automatic timer:
30 seconds or 60 seconds of treatment
on the acupuncture point.
Turn on the device by pressing the button
. The switched- on condition is
indicated by an audio signal and the illuminated LED lamp
above the time
interval button
.
Hold the device as shown in the photo.
Hold the
MEDISANA ACS/ACP
so that you are touching the contact electrode
. A complete circuit is necessary for operation. The contact electrode
forms one pole (counter electrode) and the acupuncture tip
the other pole
(active electrode).
When treating another person it is likewise important to keep this circuit com-
plete, i.e. by touching the person being treated with your free hand or by using
the external electrode (see "External electrode").
