The stored data or files will be deleted under certain circumstances
during the updating of the firmware! Please pay attention to backing
up the data/files before the update.
1.
Connect the player to your computer through USB.
2.
Switch the player on, so that your computer will expect it.
3.
Please load the current firmware from our Website or the enclosed
CD.
4.
A Directory containing the files necessary for updating the firmware
will be created after the files have been unpacked.
5.
Start the ‘Firmware Recovery Utility’ in the Directory containing the
unpacked files. The option „
Formatting
” deletes the whole hard disk
drive of your device.
6.
Click on "
Update
". The process will take some seconds.
7.
Turn the device off and disconnect the USB cable from the device.
