6. Basic recipe for waffl
es
Ingredients:
250 g plain flour
250 g sugar
125 g melted butter
¼ litre of water
1 egg
Preparation:
Mix together the water and sugar and bring to the boil.
Beat the entire mass into the flour in one go using the highest setting on your
mixer.
Also mix in the egg and the melted butter.
The batter should now have a viscous consistency.
Add 50-100 ml of lukewarm water if the batter is still too viscous.

Is the plug inserted in the mains socket?
The waffles are too light.
Does the green indicator light still indicate
heating mode?
Allow the waffles to cook for a little longer.
If necessary, set the temperature control to a
higher temperature.
The waffles are too dark.
If necessary, set the temperature control to a
lower temperature.
The waffles stick to the cooking
surfaces.
Grease the cooking surfaces, if necessary, us-
ing a small brush and a little cooking oil.
