Hold down the
ON/OFF
switch again for 3 sec-
onds to switch off the WLAN HDD Adapter.
8. Operation
On delivery, the WLAN HDD Adapter will be config-
ured as a wireless access point (AP).
Other wireless communication devices (clients) such
as tablet PCs, smartphones or notebooks can log into
the access point and thus access the data storage de-
vice connected to the WLAN HDD Adapter via the
WLAN connection.
NOTE!
When using the device as an access point for
the first time, place the client as near as pos-
sible to the WLAN HDD Adapter. Following
a successful installation, you can setup the
WLAN HDD Adapter in a location where the
signal needs to be enhanced.
