Troubleshooting 

USB devices are not detected. 

•

  Check the cable connections. Is your operating system supported? 

USB devices are detected as being new and drivers have to be installed.  

•

  Whenever a USB device is connected to a new port, it is assigned a new ID, which will 

usually require a driver installation even if the driver has already been installed. 

Recording is wobbly. 

•

  Make sure that the DVD Maker is connected directly to the PC (not via a hub). 

Recording via S-Video is in black and white.  

•

  The cable may be polarized incorrectly. Try a different cable.  

Error message: This film is copyright-protected. 

•

  The anti-copy protection is active. Such media must not be copied.
