With this adapter cable, you can …
a. establish an audio connection between the DVD Maker and a recording source using a
3.5 mm stereo socket (TRS) or …
b. connect your audio source directly to the PC in order to record only audio data.
Windows XP: How to record audio data (without video) directly
1. Start the program Cyberlink PowerDirector and select the capture button.
2. Select the option “
Settings ”.
3. In this window, double-click “ Sound ” (not Capture!). The screenshot shows a typical
sound-card entry; your card may have a different name.
Finally, select the recording source for your sound card using the “ Mixer ” button. The settings
for the recording source and level can be defined in the menu Options, Settings.
