`

Adjust the 

VOLUME

 control to a low position.

`

Set the function switch to the 

RADIO

 position.

`

Select the desired radio band FM or AM with the band switch.

`

Select a radio station by turning the 

TUNING

 knob. The band scale pointer (unit 

front) indicates the position in the band.
If in the FM band a stereo station is found, the 

FM STEREO

 indicator will light 

up.

`

Adjust the volume by turning the VOLUME knob.

`

To turn the radio off, set the function switch to the OFF position.

Antenna

For a good reception of FM stations, pull out the antenna and adjust the direc-
tion, length and angle for the best signal.

For a good reception of AM stations, a ferrit antenna is built in. If necessary, ori-
entate the unit to obtain a clear signal.
