At the same time, the 45-seconds-buffer fills up; the ESP sym-
bol appears (see “ESP function”, page 8).

The display shows 

disc

 when no or an unreadable CD 

is inserted.

Interrupt

`

To interrupt the playback, press 

PLAY/PAUSE

. The time 

blinks in the display.

Please note that pressing 

PAUSE

 empties the ESP buffer.

`

Press 

PLAY/PAUSE

 again to resume playback.

Standby mode/Switching off

`

In order to stop the playback, press 

STOP

.

The device is now in the standby 
mode. 
The total number of tracks and the to-
tal playing time are displayed.

Press 

PLAY

 in the standby mode to start the playback from 

the beginning.

`

Press 

STOP

 in the standby mode again to switch the de-

vice off. The display will go out.

If in the standby mode you do not press a key within 30 se-
conds, the device will turn off automatically.  

If you accidentally open the lid during playback, the 
rotating CD will come to a halt slowly. Do not unload 
the CD while it is still rotating!

Track and fast search – SKIP

To skip to the next/previous track, press 

SKIP DN/REW

 or 

SKIP UP/FF

.

 If you press 

SKIP DN

 during playback, 

the player will skip to the beginning of the current track.

Hold for a few seconds during playback to prompt a quick 
search within the current track.
