Display Setting
In this menu you can set up the receiver image's brightness, contrast and
saturation.
Select the desired setting with the "

" and "

" buttons.
Local Time Ssetting
You can determine the system time via the time zone or enter it manually.
In the "
GMT Usage
" menu option select the "
ON
" option if the system
time is to be determined with the aid of the time zone.
If you want to determine the system time with the aid of the time zone in
the "
GMT Offset
" menu option, set which time difference to GMT
(Greenwich Mean Time) applies. (For Germany this is +1:00)
In the "
Summer Time
" menu option set whether summer time is to be
used or not.
If you want to set the system time without the aid of the time zone in the
"
GMT Usage
" menu option select the "
OFF
" option and enter the
system time and date using the numerical keys.
Use the "
EXIT
" button to quit the menu and the settings are saved
automatically.
Timer Setting
The timer function switches the receiver to the desired channel at the
programmed time; if the receiver is connected to a recording device, e.g. a
DVD or video recorder, it is then possible to record programmes with this
function. Eight memory spaces are available.
Proceed as follows to set the timer programming.
Select a free memory space and confirm your selection by pressing the
"
OK
" button.
Set the "
Timer Mode
" function to select whether the switch should take
place once, daily or weekly.
If you want to record a TV or radio programme you can set the desired
programme in the "
Timer Service
" menu option.
Now enter the "
Wakeup Date
" and the "
On Time
" with the numerical
keys.
Now use the "  " and "  " buttons to select the duration of the timer
programme.
