Information about this Device
You can charge 1-4 size AAA/R03, AA/R6, C/R14, D/R20
rechargeable batteries or 9 V block batteries at the same time
with your charging device.
You can also charge a 9 V block battery, in addition to AA/R6
and AAA/R03 batteries, so that 5 batteries will be charged at
the same time.
Types of Battery that Can Be Charged
You can charge NiMH (nickel-metal hydride) and NiCd
(nickel-cadmium) types of rechargeable battery, and RAM
cells (alkaline/manganese).
The charging process is the same in the case of NiMH and
NiCd batteries; but NiCd batteries must be discharged before
recharging.
Please take the approximate charging times of the individual
types of battery to be expected from the Table on p. 18.
ATTENTION!
RAM cells must not be discharged under any
circumstances, because this can shorten the useful
life of the batteries, as far as the loss the ability of
the RAM cells to charge. RAM cells should not be
used no more than half capacity and then be
recharged for this reason.
