Using the microphone
PLEASE NOTE!
The voice search facility uses the Google voice rec-
ognition service. The Lifesmart TV
needs an internet connection to
be able to use this service. If the voice recog-
nition server is unavailable or if the internet
connection fails, a message will appear to in-
form you that the speech detection process
was unsuccessful.
In this case, reconnect to the internet or re-
start the Lifesmart TV by switching it off and
then back on again.
11.1. Voice search settings
Click on the tool symbol at the top right of the voice input window.
You can configure the settings for the voice search in the next window:
Language
Select the language in which terms should be provided by the voice
recognition function.
Safe Search
Enable the SafeSearch filter to screen out offensive content from the Google
search results.
Block offensive words
Tick the box on the right to block offensive terms for the speech recognition
function.
