DCF memory standard

The files on your camcorder are managed (saved, named, etc.) as 
specified by the DCF standard (DCF = Design Rule for Camera File 
System). You can also use your camcorder to view files stored on 
memory cards from other DCF cameras.
Card drive
If your PC is equipped with a card 
drive or is connected to a card read-
er and you have saved your pictures 
and video clips on the memory 
card, you can of course use just the 
card to copy the files to your PC.
