a telephone connection with CLIP function (and
has not suppressed his/her telephone number),
you will see the telephone number of the caller
on the display.
If the caller is stored in the phone book the name
will appear on the display instead.
Switching off the ring tone
Press and hold the hash key
until the
symbol appears on the handset display.
Now, when a call is received, you will no longer
hear a ring tone; the call will only be shown on
the display.
To re-activate the ring tone, press and hold
the hash key
until the symbol disap-
pears from the display.
Energy-saving function
The telephone has three energy-saving functions
with which you can reduce your energy con-
sumption and the level of radio emissions: ECO
Mode, Full ECO and Manual ECO Mode (see also
“Settings on the base station“ on page 84).
