8.3.1. Switching the device on



Press the

button to switch on the device.

The time and date are visible on the display.

8.3.2. Switching the device off



Press and hold the

button to switch the device to standby mode.

When the device is in standby mode during battery op-

eration, the device automatically switches to ener-
gy-saving mode after 30 seconds.



Press the

button to switch the device from energy-sav-

ing mode to standby mode.

The time and date are visible on the display.

8.4. Setting the language

The language is set to "English" when the device is used

for the first time or after it has been reset to factory
conditions.

The device is switched on or in standby mode.



Press and hold the

button.

The

Standby

<System> menu is shown on the display.



Press the

button.

The

System

<Sleep> menu is shown on the display.



Press the

button several times to switch to the <Language> menu.



Press the

button.



Press the

button several times to select the language.



button to confirm the selection.
