Initial operation and use
6.1. Mains
connection
Connect the mains adapter provided.
To do this, place the connection cable plug in the socket
D C I N 8 V
1 A
and the mains adapter into
a properly installed 230V ~ 50 Hz earthed power socket
which is accessible at all times.
6.2.
Switching the device on/off
Switch the
O N / O F F
mains switch to
ON
to switch
on the radio. The device is then in voice control mode,
provided this has been set up beforehand. Please read
section “10. WLAN voice control mode“ on page 283 for
more information.
To manually activate the device and button functions,
now press the
F U N C .
button. The voice control is ac-
tive in every operating mode in this case too, provided it
has been set up beforehand.
After activation with the
F U N C .
button the
device will be in the most recently selected
mode. The device is in WLAN mode after swit-
ching on for the first time and after every facto-
ry reset.
6.3. Aerial
The device has an aerial for
FM
/
DAB+
reception.
Pull the aerial out fully and align it for optimum recepti-
on.
